What is Woman? | New Evidences

What is Woman? | New Evidences March 8, 2024

When you think about a woman, what do you think of? My mind tends to drift back to scripture for a pattern of womanhood. It is International Women’s Day and I would like to share a recent discovery that may be beneficial for women in general. We have translated scriptures so much over time, that it is quite possible some deeper meanings have been lost in the sands of time. For instance, the linguistics behind the very term woman have been misconstrued, because Hebrew is not the original language. No, the original language is lost in the sands of time. This is the language spoken by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden with God. Adam named Eve woman. Along these lines there have been a team of 172 scholars working on the language behind the term woman. What we currently have is the Hebrew term woman. What we need is a better understanding of where the term actually originated. There are a couple of extremely difficult factors that play into this. One factor is the Tower of Babel, where God himself came down and confused all of the languages of the Earth. This happened before Moses wrote Genesis of course. Another factor is that the Hebrew language evolved alongside probably 45 other Semitic languages as well. Therefore it’s difficult to trace the origins of Hebrew terms, unless one knows 45 Semitic languages of course.

Nonetheless, the 172 scholars are coming into consensus that the term woman was originally two terms.

In other words it’s a combination of two root words, from ancient Semitic ideas. The two root words are words carry great meeting, and are really explicative. In other words they would each have an exclamation point after them. When God presented Eve to Adam for the first time, it is now believed that he put these two words together:

“Woah! Man!”

Through the sands of time, we can easily deduce that these two terms have been replaced by the one term woman, probably due to Women’s Lib.

If you have read this far and still do not know, this is completely satire.

Happy International Woman’s Day!
