Jalapeno Popper Crescent Rolls
Ingredients
- ½ pound bacon, small dice
- 8-ounce softened cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium jalapeno
- 1 green onion, sliced thin
- 2 cans of crescent roll dough
Method
- Preheat oven to 375.
- In a frying pan, fry the diced bacon until crispy. Drain well on a paper towel. Set aside
- Slice and de-seed the jalapeno then cut into a small dice and set aside.
- Thinly slice the green onion, set aside
- In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, bacon, jalapeno, cheddar cheese, and green onion and using a gloved hand, mix until well incorporated.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Place one Tablespoon of the cheese mixture into each triangle and roll the dough to form a crescent, then place each one onto a well-greased or lined cookie sheet, leaving room for them to expand a bit. (Double the recipe by cutting the triangles in half-length wise and using ½ Tablespoon filling)
- Bake for 11-15 minutes or until golden brown.
