The 10th National Eucharistic Congress is paramount moment in the National Eucharistic Revival movement initiated by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops —a major pastoral effort to recover the faith in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, which has been plummeting down through the years in this country. According to a 2019 survey by the Pew Research Center, nearly seven-in-ten Catholics (69%) in the United States say they personally believe that during Catholic Mass, the bread and wine used in Communion “are symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ.” Just one-third of U.S. Catholics (31%) say they believe that “during Catholic Mass, the bread and wine actually become the body and blood of Jesus.”

The National Eucharistic Revival movement got started in the solemnity of Corpus Christi in 2022, as a preparation. 2023 was focused on the revival at parochial levels. 2024 is the year of the national congress. 2025, be the year of the Ordinary Jubilee for the Catholic Church, and will be the Year of Mission to send off all believers in the Eucharist to share their faith across the Catholic Church in the country.

From May 17 through July 17, four groups of young adults walked 6,000 miles on a National Eucharistic Pilgrimage departing from the North, South, East and West of the nation and arriving in Indianapolis for this 10th National Eucharistic Congress, the first in 83 years.

A huge event of faith with a plethora of opportunities to learn about the Eucharist, grow in faith and spirituality, revitalize the faith in the Eucharist and meet fellow Catholics from many dioceses. This is a list of the daily activities to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium, the Indiana Convention Center, and some churches as well.

The fulll event will be streamed at the National Eucharistic Revival website: www.eucharisticrevival.org
