Ways Your Church Can Get Involved
Here are some great ways to get your church involved on this great day:
Donate
Your church can make a big difference by donating to an organization whose mission the congregation believes in.
Feed the hungry
Your church can start a food bank, soup kitchen, or deliver free groceries to the local and surrounding neighborhoods.
Donate your product
If Your church has extra teaching materials, bibles, or items they sell, these make great donations to those in need.
Mentor
Mentoring other Christians and helping with their church on Serve Day is a great way to help others and make an even bigger impact. By combining your congregations you will be able to serve more people.
Volunteer your services
Many nonprofits need your congregant’s talents just as much as your financial support. Have a signup volunteer sheet so any church member who wants to help can do so. Depending on the number of volunteers, your church could volunteer for months.
Set up a donation website
You can quickly help a nonprofit by building a website, setting up their Mailchimp account, or making a landing page.
Take advantage of corporate matching programs
Many companies will match your Churches donations to a nonprofit. This is an easy way to increase a nonprofit’s cash flow without adding additional expenses.
